FM ADVENTURE: STUDIO NINJAS

Headed to a cool haunted looking recording studio in Santa Monica with our fresh keyboardist Peter Rocks, who’s also the creator of MyNinjaClothing. We were getting in to work on a collab with him, Pigeon John and Flynn who are known as ROOT BEER but are OG’s in the LA scene from the LASymphony. Peter Rocks is putting together a mixtape project for the release of MYNINJA Clothing and produced a track called F.R.E.S.H. that we all would be rockin on. Pretty fresh track.

Tonight was a special night tho.. more special than most studio nights…

This night was the night i get to try the hyped up Kogi BBQ truck for the very first time. I’m always late to the food trends.. i didn’t try Pinkberry until there was one in every city… i didn’t try Boba Milk tea until there was a shop infront of my house 5 years after the fad.. i didn’t watch Dark Knight till it hit DVD.. and i haven’t tried the Kogi BBQ truck until after the 2 hour line hype i always hear about. The Shinobi Studios crew stopped by to take some flicks and ended up bringing a bag full of treats from the Kogi truck. Kogi tacos, breakfast burritos, pork tacos and sliders…

We dusted that food like great white sharks on an injured surfer… and this spot lives up to the hype for me. Its not mexican food, its not korean food.. its like a fancy fusion fit for LA taste buds haha.

Rappers are writing rhymes on Blackberry Storm and have to tell the engineer to stop recording because the light on the Blackberry shut off.
