FM ADVENTURE: SEATTLE SPACED NEEDLE
(Performance VIDEOS inside)

Touched down in Sea-Tac Airport in the sleepless city of Seattle. When it comes to advertising, Seatown must be ahead of the game cuz of all the airports we’ve been to we’ve never seen ads on the baggage claim belts till now. I think they were worried the ad wasn’t big enough…

Only in Seattle.

Gotta be one of the nicest looking cities around. We took the scenic freeway along the waterfront so we gotta pass by the Mariners and Seahawk stadiums plus got the ultimate view of the city… they call it the Emerald City, i think cuz the way it reflects off the waterfront.

Lets get this north west adventure started…

We were invited out by the homies at D-List Magazine, which don’t mean they throw “D” list parties hahah, it stands for “Dress, Dine, Drink, Dance” and they want to re-define what the term “D-LIST” is all about. They put us up in a fresh spot called Pan Pacific Hotel in Bell Town. Rooms were kick a$$ with and sick view of the Space Needle. The bathroom had a sliding wall that opened up into the room:

As the sun goes down, we chill with a hearty room service dinner while we start rehearsing our set for the show later.. this is always my favorite time before a show.

POPPIN BOTTLES IN THE ICE.. LIKE A BLIZZARD.

Soundcheck at club Venom in downtown Seattle…

DJ Butch from the UnderTheTable Crew (UTT) fillin in for DJ Virman.

Thank you to the radio stations out there for reppin the Far East Movement and our single “Girls On The Dance Floor”. Shouts to the homie DJ Phase and the 106.1 KISS FM Fam..

After soundcheck we got a chance to visit Seatown major radio station KUBE 93. We were blessed to meet one of the coolest doods and dj’s around named DJ Hyphen from KUBE 93 who gave us our first ever Seattle radio interview…

The KUBE Wall of Fame. Some serious legends on here, and we spotted one of our favorite groups/artists of all time.. OUTKAST. Can’t belive we bout to sign up the wall of fame next to the ATL-iens.

waddup to DJ B-Mello and Eddie Francis.. time to get a long distance Madden Tourney going on. Thank you to DJ Hyphen for the awesome interview where we uncovered Otis Nixon’s youthful secrets. Hyphen should have the interview up later on his blog at http://www.theaudacityofdope.com/

We didn’t get to link up, but we had to throw a shout to our homies Geo and Sabzi from the Blue Scholars since we’re in thier hood. They got a new EP out called “OOF” thats insane.

I heard the D-List Parties in Seattle are always off the hook. They had LMFAO and The Paradiso Girls who we’ll be coming back to seattle with soon for the Party Rock Tour..and now the FAR EAST MOVEMENT…

Every city got they’re own version of the ‘after club hotdog’.  After our show, we searched the downtown streets to find Seattle Cream Cheese Hotdogs which is a grilled hotdog with grilled veggies, cream cheese, ketchup and mustard. This cart got a line like a club but its worth the wait…

Invazn and Loe of Onfire

James of D-List Magazine reppin FM with 3 FINGERS UP.

Thanks for all the family that came out to the show – The whole ONFIRE Crew, Joe Cha, Mario, Francie, Jean, Jen, Joe, David, Steve, Kevin, Andrea, Shookz, DJ Christyle, the cool owner of Venom Night Club and all the seatown fam and fans that are reppin FM with 3 Fingers up. Big Thank you to the D-List Magazine fam for bringing us out.

Back to the hotel for some relaxation by the fire, nice way to unwind after back to back to back shows and a crazy night in Seattle. A few shows back i got my shades jacked, but thanks to Peter Rocks (our keyboardist) he laced me up with a fresh new pair before my eyes could ever see daylight. thanks bro

After long stretches away from LA, we make it a mission to get the only thing you can’t find anywhere else but LOS ANGELES… good ol KING TACO.

Home Sweet Home.
