Any Reflection Eternal fans in the house?

For anyone that might not know (But you better!), Reflection Eternal is the super hip-hop duo of the one and only BK MC – Talib Kweli and ill producer Hi-Tek. I’ve grown up with their first album in the cd changer rollin thru the street of LA bumin something like THIS.

a little while back, remember Talib Kweli did a remix to our song “Girls On The Dance Floor” and there was a minor mis-communication between us and him on twitter and facebook? (Read Here for more). Well, it was a small world that our homie, video director Todd Angkasuwan, was asked to direct the music video for Reflection Eternal’s new single “Back Again” and he happen to mention the remix talib did and that we’re long time friends… which lead to an invite to the video shooot!!!

He was gunning for a continuous shot music video all in 1 take.. with no cuts.. which means real probs, movements, and NO Mistakes

Todd asked us to follow him to the back to meet some people…this place was huge, with dressing/make-up rooms/kitchens and everything in the back..

it was a trip getting a chance to chop it up with talib.. and we couldn’t help but be fans first…but that’s the dopest part about this job… its all good like that haha.

He was telling us how the Asian American Community is hella down for each other.. and the second he laced up the remix to “Girls On The Dance Floor” every Asian he knew in the industry from Jeff Chang to Ben Baller hit him up saying “yo, you rocked over a FAR EAST MOVEMENT song!” that’s pretty crazy to hear.. we’re daym blessed to have our family representing like that.. THANK YOU
