FM ADVENTURE: KARAOKE FEVER.

What a craaazy night. 2 shows around LA, Karaoke madness, and a crazy party/feast after, blackberry underwater???…. one of those nights that might never end.

Started our adventure in West Covina… for a private graduation/ birthday party at Club Spice. The club was crackin.. dj had the music bangin… and all the sudden the dj drops the STANKY LEG..

OHHH NO.. time for a Stanky Leg Showdown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


J-Splif wins… got more flex in his stanky leg.

Lets make “GIRLS ONE THE DANCE FLOOR” the offical graduation party song haha. Got up for a quick set but only 2 mics were working… but nothing can stop the FM-TRON from gettin the party hype.. we still had a blast like FM had just graduated!! HAHAH heres a video:

RAN out the club fast and zoom over to Club Le Cercle in Koreatown for the next show… this the club where our homie Se7en shot his latest music video for GIRLS .. and the spot was packed.

This was a charity show to benifit the INVISIBLE CHILDREN called the “ICC SUMMER BASH” put together by our homegirl Queen B. We’re always down for a good cause and always down to help out our family whenever we can, so definitely looking forward to the show. Got to the club with time to spare and our ‘artist green room’ was a KARAOKE ROOM….

FM and a Karaoke room can only mean 1 thing…

TIME TO SING SOME OLDIES BABY!!!!!

To get your KARAOKE on… you need all the right tools… a tamborine with flashing LED lights,  the KARAOKeMOTE aka the label maker size remote to enter in your songs, and the infamous “BOOK OF KARAOKE HITS” which is like the bible of classic jams… and an FM ANIMAL ALBUM never hurts just incase you wanna rap GIRLS ON THE DANCE FLOOR.

First you gotta choose the classic that makes everyone in the room say “OHHH DAYM.. THATS MY SONGGG!!!!!!!”

Our homies… Allen and Wally from ORISUE came to sing some Karaoke… and our boy TOM NGO from MOTREES.COM means business… warming up on the tamborine but trying to act like he dont sing.. then hustle us all sounding like the next winner of American Idol LOL

Ok.. the mics didn’t work, but that didn’t stop these Karaoke enthusiasts from humming their favorite songs from the book… everyone is a little shy.. but its all good to hum along..

Then DJ Virman made the move… and entered in the “OH MY GAWD.. THATS MY SONG!” song…

OK, i think after 2 fun shows its time to celebrate. Since we had FM, Orisue, DJ Butch from UTT, Whatsupwally, Tom Ngo aka Motrees and Shinobi Studios all together… we had to make the most of the moment had headed to one of our favorite cafe’s in Koreatown from waaay wayy back in the day called Bohiemians.

This place has the ILL late night food… from fried chicken, tofu x kimchi, mussels with salsa on top and the best food creation on earth..

CHEESE CORN… just corn, cheese, butter… and corn.. so oily and good.

MAN, WE HAD SOME LOOK ALIKES IN THE HOUSE… ALLEN FROM ORISUE LOOKS LIKE JSPLIF FROM FM.. OR JSPLIF LOOKS LIKE ALLEN… AND BOTH LOOK LIKE STEVE AKOI MINUS BEARD HAHHAHA

So as we’re all leaving, hi-fiving and celebrating on a great night out, Whats UP Wally from Orisue decides it would be cool if he jumps up on the edge of this fountain with 2 feet.. and does it no problem

BUT… Tom aka MR MOTREES.COM thinks “If Whats Up Wally can do it… MOTREES CAN DO IT!” and he jumps up with 2 feet and lands on the ledge no problem… but a small black box flies thru the air… and plops in the water like a plop from a dookie when you are sittin on the toilet… like a slow motion “PLOP”.

It was MR MOTREE’s brand new Blackberry….We all watch it glow in the bottom of the fountain water in shock… then after a good 10 seconds tom grabbed it out the water.. all flickering and fluttering like it was malfunctioning.

DJ Butch aint going to let this moment slide.. and neither will this blog.

Someone told him to take out the battery as fast as he can and keep the battery out for a full day… to let all the circuits dry.. then after a day, ‘plop’ the battery back in…. dude.. for Motree’s sake, i hope it works.

Not a cool way to end the night… but why couldn’t we all stop laughing and the plopping blackberry HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA

Even on the way home a few blocks down at the red light.. we find Whats Up Wally STILL LAUGHING hHAHAHAHHAHAHAH
