FM ADVENTURE: GIANT HANDBALL in Chicago
(J-Splif FACE PLANT VIDEO?)

Another earlybird 6am flight, Which always means no sleep the night before haha. Touched down in Chicago before noon and ready to start a crazy 1 day-action-packed adventure in the windy city. Our song “Girls On The Dance Floor” has been getting good radio play out there thanks to our family at the 2 top radio stations: 103.5 KISS FM and B 96.3.
First thing we needed to do was EAT.
Chicago is known for food from what we hear, and we hear there are waaaay too many good places to eat.. last time we were in Chicago we had the famous Eating FM – ‘deep dish pizza’.. and this time there was even a festival called Taste of Chicago where you can try all the best Chicago as to offer…so our challenge is to try as many famous chitown places to eat in 1 day.. lets see how much we can stomach…
I kept hearing from our boy Kenny about this spot called Bob Chinn’s Crab House. Heard they had the best crab in Chicago.. if not the whole nation and this is THE Seafood spot in the Chi.. We’ll have an Eating FM review up later.. we had crab, scallops, steak, king crab, calamari.. the whole ocean…wait till yall see the foooood!

PURPLE/GOLD FM SHIRTS AVAILABLE ONLINE NEXT WEEK!
Big shouts and Thank you to our CSG Entertainment family.. Sang, Daniel, Jackie, Eugene and the whole crew… awesome meal and yall the illest hosts… WE ARE STUFFED.

Also hear that people in Chicago don’t mess with Starbucks or Coffee Bean or any of that gourmet expensive stuff… they like their coffee straight to the point and a good deal.. so Dunkin Donuts OWNS in the mid west..

With our stomachs completely full to beyond capacity, we headed to soundcheck for our first gig for the Korean Olympics Event at Harper college put together by CSG and Miriam and fam. Soundcheck was cool, stage was cool… but we can’t let that side track us from the mission at hand.. try the best food Chi-town has to offer.. and we still got much more to try.
Only 2 hours from our last huge meal of crab and steak… we’re off to our next spot. Our fam told us Chicago is the only place besides NY that has authentic Italian Beef Sandwiches.. whats the difference between beef and Italian beef?
“Italian beef is made using cuts of beef from the sirloin butt (Scala’s) or the top/bottom round wet-roasted in broth with garlic, oregano and spices until medium rare or medium. The roast is then cooled, shaved using a deli slicer, and then served dripping wet after a reintroduction to its reheated beef broth; hence the need to use a chewy bread, as a softer bread would disintegrate.”
THE SPOT for these famous sandwiches is called Portillo’s.. its a chain all around chitown.. and they specialize in hot dogs, fries and italian beef sandwiches

After seeing this Rocket… we realized we needed to buy a spaceship.
DJ Virman was getting the set ready for tonight’s show in the serato…

Italian Beef, Cheese, Croissant, Peppers = Portillo’s Italian Beef Sandwich

This is exactly why you shouldn’t tour all the time… eating this good all the time is a sin haha
We’ll make sure we diet when we get back to LA lol.. plus we have a long performance set at the college and a 2nd show right after so we’ll sweat it ouuut… but seriously.. i don’t think we can eat any more this trip.. already ate a few days worth of food in a few hours.. this mission might be over… or is it??? hahahhaaa
We get to the first show, and our ‘green room’ is a work out room with raquet ball courts… and Prohgress finds an exercise ball that you do ab exercises on. we should really exercise after all this Chicago eatin….

hmmm…. Giant bouncing ball… raquet ball court….
GIANT HANDBALL GAME TIME!!!
PROHGRESS vs. J-SPLIF

Now why would we need protective eyewear with a ball this big???
watch this video to see why we need protective eyewear…. lol

HAHHAAHAHHAHAHHHA……….
HAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAH
LOL.
even tho J-Splif crashed like a bus into a wall, with only 1 eye working and a sprained collar bone and dislocated nose… he still beat Prohgress… thats like some Kobe Bryant ish right there.. CHAMP.

Show at the college was a grip of fun and thank you to the people that came out to represent FM, yall know how to rock at a show for sure.. great to know we got fam out there spreading the music. Right after that show, our homie DJ Boi Jeanius from 103.5 KISS FM and the homie DJ MIC Damn invited us to do a quick show at the club he was spinning at that night. Didn’t get pics with the homies that night but thanks for having us and we appreciate yall reppin “Girls On The Dance Floor” out there!
Right after that club show we had to bounce out quick to link up with our other homie .. DJ Flipside from B96 who is also a producer and dj for the group called the Jump Smokers who have a song on the radio and the clubs that goes “my flow so tight and the beat so sick, chris brown should get his a$$ kicked” hahhahaha about how you shouldn’t hit a girl. Look out for an FM x Flipside collabo coming sooooooon
We went out to his club called Republic to say waddup and right when we got there he dropped in “Girls On The Dance Floor”.. was dope to see people in Chicago dancing to it in the clubs

After partying a bit with Flipside, we had to head out to our final party destination of the night.. Club Vision in downtown with our homies at CSG Entertainment.. and every time we party with them its MADNESS…

Big shouts to DJ Shy from 103.5 KISS FM and DJ BJ reppin “Girls On The Dance Floor” on radio and at the club all night!
It hit around 4:30am.. and the clubs don’t close around 5am here… so you can seriously party til AM. Our flight was leaving around 8am is so we had to get to the airport around 6am. That left a few hours to try 1 more good place to eat before we head home… what food does Chicago have to offer next?
There’s a 24 hour spot that everyone in Chicago hits up after the club called Maxwell’s… where for $2 you can eat enough food to put you to sleep. We have this spot everytime we come to Chicago… and the specialites are the Polish dogs, the fish sandwiches, and the pork chop sandwiches. The homie Jackie from CSG blessed everyone by coming thru the club at the end of the night with bags and bags of food from Maxwell’s … Mission Accomplished.

Thank you to all our family in Chicago for showing us a crazy time… and thank you to the DJ’s at 103.5 KISS FM and B 96 for playing “Girls On The Dance Floor”…. and an even bigger thanks to the listeners requesting the song every day and reppin FM in CHI TOWN.
