FM ADVENTURE: FRESNO TRIP… “FOG CAN KILL”
Driving thru Fresno looking for something to eat before our show at Aldo’s, we noticed that there was an intense amount of fog.. and there was even a billboard that said something like “FOG CAN KILL” on the freeway… that’s a little disturbing.
(IN SCOOBYDOO ANNOUNCER VOICE) ” WILL THE FAR EAST MOVEMENT MAKE IT TO THE RESTAURANT IN ONE PIECE OR BE EATEN BY THE KILLER FRESNO FOG?!*&$%???”
AINT NO FOG MESSING WITH THE MOVEMENT.
We was all starving and while blindly driving thru Fresno we ended up finding a Cheesecake Factory which leads to…..
EATING FM “SHRIMP SANDWICH” in Fresno
Since the Cheesecake Factory is a pretty big franchise and i’m hoping most of yall tried it, we’re going to switch it up and review a special dish instead of the whole restaurant like we usually do.
The Cheesecake Factory is a pretty nice restaurant all over california and i think everywhere else too.. and they’re known for these:
Beyond crazy cheesecakes, they got a pretty crazy menu that ranges from breakfast burritos, to pasta, to pizza, to crab cakes, to steaks, to mini burgers, to miso glazed salmon… but theres one item on this menu that makes all the other items taste like wood…
This item is the GRILLED SHRIMP AND BACON CLUB SANDWICH. Its the ultimate sandwich… 3 pieces of grilled bread, chopped lettuce, crispy bacon, tomatoes, huge grilled shrimp and a special mayo type of sauce… possibly one of the best sandwiches ever made…
When everyone was ordering, i kept saying “get the Grilled Shrimp Club Sandwich”… Vir, Proh, Splif and Ollie all ignore me…
Let me try one more time….
me: “yoyo…. get the grilled shrimp and bacon club sandwich… its seriously the SH*T….”
Vir: “hmmm.. the breakfast burrito sounds good… J what are you getting?”
J-Splif: “ooooo, philly cheese steak…. did kev say something?”
Proh: “I think i’m going to order a water with ice on the side…”
ME: “Dude.. yall are going to regret not ordering the shrimp club”
Proh: “oh guys, check this out! its a grilled shrimp sandwich on the menu… im going to order that!… kev, what were u saying?”
ME: **PEACE SIGN UP WITH MY INDEX DOWN**
Proh and I got it with coleslaw on the side
and a tall strawberry lemonade to wash the ‘best sandwich in the world’ down….
We gave J-Splif and DJ Virman a bite…. and here was they’re responses.. along with drool.
J-Splif: “Dude, my Philly tastes like wood compared to that sandwich… why didn’t you tell me about it?”
Virman: “ohhh man.. that has to be my favorite sandwich of all time.. how come you didn’t tell us about that good ass sandwich??”

**2 Fingers up – Great Taste, if you get a chance… try it… i recommend it.
* 1 Finger up – Kinda wish i didnt eat there or order what i ordered … but i ate it and now im full.
- Middle Finger up – i threw it away while eating it… if i had a brick i’d throw it through the window.. and if i had lighter fluid and a lighter.. i’d burn that mutha down…

It was our first show in Fresno and it was fun… FRESNO definitely knows how to represent and get loud and proud… thanks to all the family that came out and thanks to Fresno for reppin FM with 3 fingers high. Look out for our new single “GIRLS ON THE DANCE FLOOR” to be spinning on Fresno radio!
