FM ADVENTURE: FM x ONE BLOCK RADIUS

On the ANIMAL album… we worked with a sick group we been following for a looong time called ONE BLOCK RADIUS.

We first heard them thru Catch who was bumpin they’re first CD, then just being around LA we ran into them many times and finally we connected to work on a song together….they recently were signed with the major label Mercury/ Def Jam and have a hit song out right now on radio called “You Got Me”.

Marty James of OBR… who laced up the sick hook for Federation’s Stunner Glasses at night anthem.

I first played Marty the beat we made with Bionik that would be perfect for the collab and he already had a siiick hook idea so we linked up with Ari and Josh at Levcon Studios in Hollywood to get the hook recorded and the track mixed and album ready.

They’ve mixed some hot records here… Felli Fel’s “Get Buck”, all of Yung Berg’s records… and the final FM songs for ANIMAL.

We needed to do an anthem for the recessionary times that we’re facing in this country… so we came up with a concept called “GET THAT MONEY”… an anthem for all those hard working souls going above and beyond to GET THAT MONEY.

When we had this track bumpin in the loud speakers it had us all jumpin like we was in rave…. thats the type of energy we wanted for this song.
