FM ADVENTURE: FILIPINO HOME COOKIN.

Before our first rehearsal for the Animal Release party, we headed to Virman’s house for some good ol’ Filipino home cookin that we love so much.

Whenever we come over, Mama Coquia always makes up a few specialties for us… and its all an automatic 3 FINGERS UP.

Lets get down to biznaaaasssss……

First up is something i tryed for the first time this year and loved it. Its a soup called Sinigang, a sour soup base with leaved veggies like spinach and huge pieces of beef that melt right off the bone… I hear this is Baby Bash’s favorite.

Then Mama Coquia bakes some marinated pork chops right out the oven, and they’re always golden and juicy and make the whole kitchen smell like heaven. PERFECTION.

This is a 3 fingers up meal right here… get any artist ready for rehearsal… or too sleepy from food coma to rehearse…

And during any type of special occasion we make sure Virman tells us days in advance so we can plan a head. We gotta make sure we don’t eat the whole day before the gathering.. and make sure we bring a gift so we aint some freeloading bums hahhaha jk.

His fam does it HUGE HEFNER style…. like a Filipino All-You-Can-Eat Vegas Buffet.

They got the Pancit, Chicken Adobo, crispy fried squid with sour sauce, beef steak with onions, mac and cheese, hot dogs, and more.

And the desserts to get you beyond full.

They go to a place called Corto’s Bakery that has this special cheese filled pastry. these are the shiiizzzzznit.

Banana Lumpia.

Can’t wait for the next birthday or special event… YESSSSSS!!!
