EATING FM: “FM = FARMER BOYS”

Took a roadtrip out to Bakersfield, CA for live interview on radio station HOT 94.1 and a show later in the evening at a club called The Nile.

The drive to Bakersfield from Los Angeles is a cool hour and a half.. and that’s enough time to get hungry. We checked in to our hotel and decided to roll the streets of Bakersfield when we spotted….

Now we have FARMER BOYS in Los Angeles… but food always tastes better out of town.. and to my surprise, Prohgress has never had the food at Farmer Boys.

When i was 7 years old i grew up on a farm… and this was how we low ride.

I been talkin this place up a grip to Proh, so lets see if he gives it the 3 fingers up…

This spot is known for X-LARGE food… like abnormally huge portions of stuff. Double patty fish burgers, huge pieces of fried zucchini, big a$$ burgers, all kinds of salads and sandwiches and a breakfast menu that makes DJ Virman drool… cuz Vir loves him some breakfast food.

I’d have an easier time deciding on a car to buy.

Ever had and onion ring?

A FARMER BOYS GIANT ONION RING? THE SIZE OF YOUR HAND.. BUT WIDER AND THICKER???

Time to see if it meets Prohs taste buds. Proh ordered the FARMERS Burger – half pound flame broiled burger topped with double cheese, hickory smoked bacon, avocado, tomato, onions and a sesame bun.

Look how big this beast is… and look at homeboy cheezin hahah ready to GRUB

At first he says “wow this burger is too big.. im not THAAT hungry so i’ll save half and eat it later after our show”. Around 10 minutes later, the monster burger was INHALED and Farmer Boys gets a ‘2.5 Fingers Up’ from Proh.

Make sure when you visit this place, you come starving… try not to eat the day before or something.

***3 Fingers up - MUST EAT.. crave for it.. amazing food. If you dont try it your missing out on life…

**2 Fingers up – Great Taste, if you get a chance… try it… i recommend it.

* 1 Finger up – Kinda wish i didnt eat there or order what i ordered … but i ate it and now im full.

- Middle Finger up – i threw it away while eating it… if i had a brick i’d throw it through the window.. and if i had lighter fluid and a lighter.. i’d burn that mutha down…

Price Range: around $11 per person for burger, drink and onion rings

We recommend: Farmers Burger, Fish Sandwich, Giant Onion Rings

Service: servers were hella cool. restaurant was closing but they let us in and let us sit inside and eat while they were cleaning

Rating: – **2.5 FINGERS UP.

Stuffed and ready to rock the stage at The Nile…. and when we pulled up check the marquee!

The show was broadcasted live online too with over 3500 viewers online.. and we had a grip of fun.
