EATING FM – “BOILING ROACHES”
Celebrated a birthday for our homie Anson from Arowana Films over at the Boiling Crab in Alhambra. I first heard about the Boiling Crab from the FM Street Team when they had they’re going away party for Corey so we was excited to give this place a shot. (Heres the FM Street Team’s Trip).
Before i get in to what i thought about the food…i had a realization while eating around 16 shrimps…
Crab’s are like the spiders of the sea… so is shrimp like the roaches of the sea? You be the judge.
Notice the similar antenna, hard shell and weird legs?? All good tho… im still eating shrimp.
Met up with the Arowana family outside and saw the homie Ev rockin the classic ‘Simple Love’ Far-east Movement Logo tee.. limited press.
Besides my roach realization…
this had to have been the funniest thing of the night….this place is popular with asian’s.. and probably asian owned… but they dont serve rice so the homies had to bring a costco size rice up in here…

And one of the best surprises of the night… OUR FM STREET TEAM WAS REPPIN.. Yall the best
Cant wait to order.. i didn’t eat all day just to save room for this meal.

The exterminators are ready for some bug killin.
The Boiling Crab is known for crab and shrimp that’s marinated and boiled in they’re special spicy-cajun-butter-garlic sauce thats thrown in a huge plastic bag and brought to your table.
And theres no forks… everyone has to eat with they’re hands… but we’re beasts from the east so its all good
And after its all done, i peeled and ate 16 shrimps, 1 corn on the cob and some rice on the placemat. AND I FEEL LIKE A MILLIONAIRE.

***3 Fingers up - MUST EAT.. crave for it.. amazing food. If you dont try it your missing out on life…
**2 Fingers up – Great Taste, if you get a chance… try it… i recommend it.
* 1 Finger up – Kinda wish i didnt eat there or order what i ordered … but i ate it and now im full.
- Middle Finger up – i threw it away while eating it… if i had a brick i’d throw it through the window.. and if i had lighter fluid and a lighter.. i’d burn that mutha down…

Price Range: around $15-$20 per person… ruffly
We recommend: Spicy Shrimp, Sausage and Corn on the Cob in a bag.. and bring ya own rice hahah
Service: service was good.. the food came out fast and the servers are cool.. they let us bring the rice in.
Rating: – ***3.0 FINGERS UP.
it was my first time here and it was the ish. i’d recommend it for daaaaays and can’t wait to eat there again.

fm fam has to eatt there seriosly .. and that realization about the roaches and shrimp is pretty sick .. lol
oh man…i CAN’T WAIT to try some of that when i’m out there. i was just talking about it too. i haven’t even eaten there yet, and i’m already givin it 3 fingers up the way everyone talks about it. haha
hehe…why’d you have to go and ruin shrimp for me by comparing the to roaches?
you guys didn’t eat the crawfish? sadness. but i guess shrimp is easier to eat, and it tastes about the same. haha. =P
