EATING FM “AFTER PARTY” in Bakersfield. Episode 17.

Right when the U92 Summerjam was over.. we had to get on a plane at 7am.. which means we needed to get to the airport at 5am… which means NO SLEEP. whenever we do that we just sleep on the plane, but the flight was 1hr to phoenix then 1 hour to burbank so the sleep was terrible. Just for the record, Southwest Airlines is the worst airline on the face of this earth. we fly with many different airlines and southwest wins worst airline of the century x 100000000.

Right when we got to burbank they lost our baggage in phoenix and we had no time to wait because we had to drive to bakersfield by 1pm to make our performance at the lowrider show. This would have been ok, cuz loosing bags happens… no airline is perfect… but the lady at the counter was satan’s wife. The Worst Customer Service ever…almost treating us like it was our fault that we flew with this cheap airline and did not once appologize for our bags coming up missing.
The saddest thing of all, there was a cowboy who had checked in a saddle and had to make it to a rodeo competition in santa barbara by 1pm.. and there was no way he could get it either.

Ended up making it to the Lowrider Nationals and having a great time.. and we got our bags later when we got home.

After the Lowrider Nationals show we had to unwind.. and there were a grip of after parties around Bakersfield.

AFTER PARTY 1.

we was all hungry.. and it was 100 + degrees outside, so we needed to find a nice cool spot to chill. We linked up with Kafani and the crew and headed to the first spot called Logan’s Roadhouse… looked like a country bbq spot. Look out for an FM x Kafani Collab coming soon.

Every table has a big ol tin can of peanuts hahah i never seen anything like that.. but we was grubbin.

There was all this crap on the floor.. and i was thinkin it was hay or straw.. like a farm haha.. but they we realized it was peanut shells hahah so we started throwing our shells all over the floor. they never have to sweep.

Then menu had everything, bbq chicken, open faced sandwiches with enough meat for 5 sandwiches, steaks, burgers, ribs.. everything. we got nachos.. and no joke it was atleast 5 inches high.. the plate was like a football… it had chips, steak, cheese, sour cream, tomatos, jalapenos, beans and chili.

We KILLED it.

AFTER PARTY 2.

After we ate we headed to Hot 94.1 DJ Damage’s After Party at Chuy’s. It was an outdoor party with a tropical vibe. They was serving drinks in pitchers with 2 straws in em just like singapore. Damage was spinnin the chill tropical soundtrack. Mixxaholics reppin.

We was already full, but the food looked bomb. i saw mini burgers, bbq shrimp plates fries and more.. and when you order food they give you a crazy stuffed animal till your food comes out haha.

Met up with Interscope Recording artist Omar Cruz and the crew… look out for an FM x Omar Cruz collab coming soon as well.

This spot was the perfect place to chill on a sunday. they doin this every sunday so if you’re in the Bakersfield area be sure to hit up Chuy’s and say waddup to Damage for us.

AFTER PARTY 3.

We was pretty beat, but the homie DJ Chuck 1 from Hot 94.1 was throwing an after party at a chill bar called Mcgees… The air conditioner was blasting and the drinks were nice and cool.. a perfect end to the trip before heading. Chuck 1 had a dope set.. played LOWRIDIN 3 times while we were there.. THANK YOU HOMIE!

**2 Fingers up - Great Taste, if you get a chance… try it… i recommend it.

* 1 Finger up - Kinda wish i didnt eat there or order what i ordered … but i ate it and now im full.

- Middle Finger up - i threw it away while eating it… if i had a brick i’d throw it through the window.. and if i had lighter fluid and a lighter.. i’d burn that mutha down…

Location: Bakersfield, CA

Price Range: $8- $15 for a meal.

We recommend: Open face roastbeef sandwich, hot wings, house salad, steak, super nachos

Service: waitress was cool.. food came out on time

Location: Bakersfield, CA

Price Range: $7-$12 for a meal… decently priced drinks.

We recommend: Drink in a pitcher, Mini Burgers looked good.. so did the bbq shrimp.

Service: Food and drinks came out on time… good vibes

Rating: - **2.5 FINGERS UP.

Feelin the tropical party vibe.. would come here every sunday if i stayed in Bakersfield
