Its rare that there’s a good mexican restaurant in LA that we havent tried.. but this is one of them. The Cherrytree El Adobe event was crackin n the best part of it was the free ‘all u can eat’ mexican food. Like we said, raised on legit mexican food so we’re extra critical. We did a video Eating FM food review on this Satellites.. here’s the food review scale…

- Middle Finger up – i threw it away while eating it… if i had a brick i’d throw it through the window.. and if i had lighter fluid and a lighter.. i’d burn that mutha down…

Went to see our Cherrytree Records Label mates La Roux live at the sold out Club Nokia show in Downtown LA. The show was free wired from beginning to end.. and at the very end they brought in “Bulletproof” with a crazy intro and the crowd went ape. Caught some footage at the show n backstage with the Cherrytree/ Interscope fam and the homie Ben Baller. Also the week before we got a call from Cherry Cherry Boom Boom that our song “Like A G6″ hit 28 on Itunes in Canada so we found a way to say thanks to yall and celebrate in the airport mid tour…

The last stop on our mini FM Canada tour was Toronto.

Of all times we could be in this beautiful city, our first time had to be during the imfamous G20 Summit, which is a gathering of all the world leaders from countries around the globe to talk about matters that affect the globe. Our Universal Canada/ Asphalt Regime team set up a meet n greet/ interviews at the New Era Flagship store in downtown Toronto and we kept hearing that the city was going to be shut down cuz of the possibility of protests. Its a perfect place to protest issues you aint feeling to be heard. Started to notice tweets from fam in toronto saying the streets to the city were roadblocked and all the sudden we heard horns and chats from a crowd. walked out side to see thousands and thousands of people walkin down Queen street protesting important issues to them. Everything seemed to be going smooth so we went back in the store to finish up some interviews when we saw cops in gas masks and sirens so we ran back outside. we heard this crazy chant from a mob of people dressed in all black and faces covered in black ninja masks. people were yelling, windows were getting smashed, and people were running by us with bloody faces so our team drags us back inside the new era store just before a the huge mob walks by… we caught most of the action on our spy cam..

Seriously grateful n blessed to have yall reppin n supporting the Far East Movement in Toronto. thx frances for taggin us on these flics from our performance at Tattoo.

Dam been excited to get this. Just like most the world i been a huge Eminem fan from the start… i can remember filling up notebooks and notebooks writing verses just like Em, with the same cadences, mutli syllables and pain haha. Crazier to think Em was a huge reason i went to intern at Interscope way back and now to actually be signed to the same label as him trips me out. thats crazy… dont wanna wake up.

We’re headed off to London today on our way to perform with N*E*R*D and i got me the perfect thing to listen to on the long azz flight…

Eminem “Recovery”

Its dope to hear the old school Eminem kill these verses like i aint ever heard. Im geekin out over this album for sure. “Love The Way You Lie” reminds me of when i first heard “Stan”, def one of my favorite songs out right now. Thanks to Greg Miller from Big Hassle and Cherrytree Interscope records i got a chance to see Eminem live for the first time ever at the E3 Concert at Staples Center. I had the “Up In Smoke” dvd and the Eminem Show dvd and the dvd of his tour in the UK.. so seein him spit for the first time live was bananas.

i had to bring the spycam in the concert to share with yall… keepin it free wired..

Up to Sacramento and San Jose.. and things got a bit crazy. Started in LAX with 3 delays on our flight totaling 4 hours of airport sitting. Thank god we’re free wired and internet wasn’t an issue with our FM Satellite card. Sacramento was first and the homie Maysam who booked the shows grabbed us straight from the airport, hitting the gas at 120mph right to The Venue (the name of the the venue) for a quick soundcheck right before the doors opened. Right after soundcheck our bro DJ SN1 from Hot 103.5 in Sac came out and we were going to do a dinner but with all the time delays we had to head straight to our hotel to wash the airplane smell off real quick and head right back to The Venue. Dam, and we hadn’t eaten since early morning so all the mayhem from this crazy day of delays and the excitement since we havent performed in Sactown for a minute lead made for some crazy anxiety before the show… getting light headed n close to passing out… then right as we pull up to the venue we see a line out side and some dudes outside and some cool girls from davis holler out ‘far east movement!’ Energy went from zero to hero like i drank 4 sugafree redbulls. Its the craziest feeling seeing fam rep in cities we don’t normally get out to.

As we walked up to the side of the stage to hit the green room we could hear yall makin some noise, we’re grateful and ready to go APE SH*T…

After the show our hosts Maysam, Johnny Kurupt and a new fam member Max Murder of AMC who heard of us from Ben Baller (Thank you BEN!) took us out for a crazy night around town. All i can remember is hitting the Del Taco drive thru at 4am with Max buying everything on the menu and a stripper pole in Johnny Kurupts living room. One of those nights ‘Get Him To The Greek’ nights.

Woke up next mornin and headed to Sacramento radio station HOT 103.5 for to link up with our fam Shorte, DJ Mofo, DJ Sn1 and Pattie for a live interview on the Hot New @ 2. Was fun choppin it up on air.. shouts on the waves to Cherrytree, Cherry Cherry Boom Boom and the Stereotypes who are from Sacramento… then they played “Like A G6″ twice, “Girls On The Dance Floor” and “2 IS Better” .. thank yall a grip.

For a dinner we hit up the Corner Bar to watch the Lakers vs Celtics over wings and onion rings with Shorte, Lace, Danny Mijangos, Jay Marz, Freeze and the HOT family. Thanks to the owner at the Corner Bar for the free pitchers.. slizzzurrrd.

Finished up Sacramento with a crazy night of club hoppin in Johnny Kurupt’s limo and met up with Manny from Kalikwest media.. tried Hookah for the first time n strawberry is bangin then hit up Sandbar and got to see the whole club rock out when DJ Elementz dropped in “Like A G6″ and “Girls On The Dance Floor”. Sacramento is now FREE WIRED.

SAN JOSE…

Road tripped it over to San Jose the next day.. gave Maysum a little preview of the new album in the 2 hour car ride n made a pit stop at his club called TRE on the way. They serve the illest lunch.. i ordered a Boss Burger that was 3 fingers wayy up. too hungry to grab flics of the food lol.

Broadcasted our 90’s hits theme’d Cherrybomb Party mix on Cherrytreeradio straight from our hotel room in San Jose and headed straight over to Sabor where our show was. Linked up with our family from 454 Ent. In case you havent heard of them, they got a serious movement right now from the bay made up of our homies IZ who we featured on our song I PARTY, Thai, Nump Trump, Drew Deezy, Cloud, Duy, Hoe and the big homie Chris. Got a crazy song with Bobby V called “I Don’t See Nothin Wrong” n they had us up the week before for their release party and was real dope to have the whole team come out to our show at Sabor. The homie Juan Burgandy who dj’s on KDON 102.5 in Salinas and reppin “Like A G6″ was spinnin in the house too. Big thanks to our Norcal FM Promoteam, Interscope Promo team and all the family that came out to rep the Far East Movement with 3 fingers up at the lounge. San Jose goes hard.. thank yall for the love and thank yall for requestin “Like A G6″ in the clubs and on radio.

Backstage at Sabor, they have this walkway on the way to the stage that’s covered in autographs from wall to wall, from Lady Gaga, Travy McCoy, Pitbull, Lil Jon, Will-i-Am and more.. time for us to leave our mark..

Stayed wired all night and headed straight to the airport at 5am. Walking off the plane in LAX  stankin like show and champagne we ended up running into my old lawschool buddies Bobby and Ben Hundreds. I remember the first time going to school and seeing random shirts with “H”s all over em and screen savers in class with big “H”s on em waaay back in the day.. but now i know.
