Rocked an hour set at UCLA with DJ Brass Monkey spinning a lil set at the end, his first live DJ debut.. so we brought secret agents from the crowd up on stage n the place was bananas. What a crazy night, UCLA is Free Wired.

FM ADVENTURE: THE HESTER STREET FAIR WITH SUCHIN PAK

Every time we’re in New York we never have time to explore the culture around the Big Apple. Last trip while up there for Bamboozle we had a few hours off  to visit our friend Suchin Pak from MTV and she took us to a new neighborhood fair on Hester and Essex on the Lower East Side that she put together and will be running through the end of December 2010. Suchin is one of the coolest girls we’ve been blessed enough to meet, even reppin the old school Far East Movement logo tee shirt on MTV TRL during an MTV News break a few years ago. I remember getting calls like “yooo i see your logo on TRL!”

Here were some of the interesting tents that day:

Organic Homemade Cornnuts…

This dog was like their mascot…he seemed to love the cornnuts and all the passers by were encouraged to feed him…I couldn’t resist either.

These pretzels threw me for a loop…

I’ve been struggling the past few weeks trying to think of the perfect Mother’s Day Gift…so Suchin brought me to a vendor who was selling dope homemade jewelry:

They color the pieces with organic dyes and stuff:

Suchin bought one for herself along the way…haha

But the headliner for the day though was definitely the lobster rolls:

Straight from Maine (hence the “from ME to you” tagline), Luke’s Lobster Rolls are famous all along the East Coast so we had to give it the Eating FM taste test:

***3 Fingers up – MUST EAT.. crave for it.. amazing food. If you dont try it your missing out on life…

**2 Fingers up – Great Taste, if you get a chance… try it… i recommend it.

* 1 Finger up – Kinda wish i didnt eat there or order what i ordered … but i ate it and now im full.

- Middle Finger up – i threw it away while eating it… if i had a brick i’d throw it through the window.. and if i had lighter fluid and a lighter.. i’d burn that mutha down…

What WE Thought:

Restaurant/ Dish: Lobster Roll

Location: Luke’s @ the Hester Street Fair New York

Price Range: apparently, $14 for a roll is a steal in New York… dam inflation! hahah

Service: Friendly. Maybe it was because I came with the boss? haha

What we recommend: obviously the Lobster Roll, with an ice cold Coke to wash it down.

Rating: – ***3 Fingers Up – I’d almost call it the east coast King Taco…ALMOST.

whole lot of walking, had to undo the tie…

What a great time eating food, buying gifts, and just chatting with people. The Hester Street Fair is a MUST VISIT if you’re in New York.

FM ADVENTURE: BAMBOOZLE NEW JERSEY RECAP

This was our first time out in New Jersey… and the perfect first time to perform would we premiering at the Bamboozle Music Festival. Jersey is where Bamboozle originated so the scale of this festival was huge, held at the Meadowlands. Daym tho… Drake, MGMT, Paramore, Wale, Something Corporate, Hanson, Weezer and more on the lineup. A sea of music lovers all over the place.. recipe for a great night.

Daym Jersey gets dowwn. Yall made this a fun show for us, thank you. I got video from the show to put up on the FM Satellites soon. Gave us the chills on stage when yall were singin all the words to “LIKE A G6″ and “Girls On The Dance Floor”. After the show we got a chance to meet some Cherrybombers and FM Promoteamers.. its dope meeting people from the chat in real life, yall are like celebs to us and we can finally put faces to screen names. Shouts to team on the east: Matt Suh and his team, Diana from Transparent Agency, Yung Mac,  and all our Moodswing 360 fam for coordinating the day and reppin FM.. and a huge thank you to Christan from Live Nation and his amazing Mother for coming out just to see our set… she the best and now we have a new home in jersey!

I love many places around the world reppin FM, but why do i love the OC? cuz the OC loves to party, they go Ape Sh++, they down to earth, and they international secret agents that rep the Far East Movement hard with 3 fingers up.

Had a show with DJ Los from Power 106 at Heat Ultralounge, our first southern cali show back from tour.. and the place was vacuum pizacked from front to back. Just the way we like it.

FM PICS: BACK FROM THE BALL.

Japan was amazing, the Monster Ball Tour with Lady Gaga was insane… and now its time to head home for some California love.

Home sweet home. My new carpet came with kicks.

First night back in LA, hit up Korean BBQ in ktown with our manager Ted Chung and video director Matt Alonzo from Skee Tv.. possible new project in the works. This is the closest we get to a home cooked meal haha.

Still a bit jetlagged and on Japan time. Was only in LA for 24 hours, then hopped right on a plane to New York for a show at Syracuse University. Didn’t know they brought the Disney Haunted Mansion over here? hahh for real tho, we heard this building is what inspired the Addams Family house.

Prohgress during soundcheck at Syracuse. The organizers told us it was going to be one of the top sellin nights thanks to yall.

The staff was incredible at Syracuse.. they asked Virman what he wanted to eat and as a joke he said “i want a mushroom omelette”.. careful what you wish for Vir.. BAM!

Syracuse secret agents came to party with FM. Was an unbeatable feeling to hear fam all the way out on the east coast singing the words to “Like A G6″. Wait till yall see some of the spycam footage i got from stage. After the show went APE we headed backstage for an interview with the schools newspaper editor.. thank yall for spreadin FM and reppin with 3 fingers up.

Red eye flight to LAX and as we arrived to the crib Downtown Los Angeles never looked so good… My street is poppin.

The Secret Agents are home.

had a day to handle biz in Tokyo before the Monster Ball Concert in Yokohama. The secret agents came to put in work.

On the way to the Universal office, i caught a spyflic of every Bentley owners nightmare…


No matter where in the world u are, meter maids will get ya.

Our hotel overlooking Aoyama Cemetery. One of the only ones like this around Tokyo.

Tokyo gets a 3 fingers up so far. Amazing out here.

Landed at the Universal International/ Japan Headquarters. Spent a full day doing interviews with local tv crews, video drops, and meetings with the team. We came to work. Thanks to Kimi, Kage, Hikari and the whole team out there.. the new FM Secret Agents in Japan that will set it off n we blessed to have em reppin with 3 fingers high.

Hit our first radio interview out there with one of the biggest radio stations in Tokyo called J-Wave 81.3. Thx Hikari from Universal Int for the nice translation. Interview was dope, gotta speak about our new album, getting signed with Cherrytree, touring with Lady Gaga, and what we liked most about Japan.. its a tie between the style and the food. Dam the food out there is insanely good.

All our international secret agents in tokyo, be on the look out for “Girls On The Dance Floor” on the radio out there and if theres a request line please hit them up to play it till the speakers dance.
