FM ADVENTURE: AZ PARTY EQUATION

AHHHHHHH YEEEAAAAAAA. Trip to Phoenix, Arizona!

From anyone that lives there or visits, they will tell you theres nothing to do there….. BUT PARTY. That’s kinda a good thing when we’re going out there to perform… and this trips FM Party Equation is: Arizona + Partying – Cops x Limo Service + Crazy Hotel (to the power of) Loud Music divided by Party People + Nice Club = GIRLS ON THE DANCE FLOOR.

Now, if you ever use this well calculated equation, you will succeed in having one of the best times EVER.

Since PHX is only an hour-20 min flight, we got to take a later flight than usual which was nice since we just had a show at a club the night before. Felt amazing to get that extra few hours of sleep. We’ve been crazy night and day with performing, meetings, recording, producing, blogging, promoting, song writing, emails, more meetings, rehearsing, ISA and all the things we love the most.. but its always nice to step away for 1 day and have fun. For this trip, we said its time to step up our photo game… and we got a new camera! Its a Cannon Powershot SD780 IS… and I’m about to put this new toy to the FM Party Equation Test. Off to AZ…

Prohgress says Burbank Airport is the fast food of the Airport biz – Quick and good.

Phoenix has had our back for a while now… with our first single in 2007 called “You’ve Got A Friend” feat Baby Bash and Lil Rob and second radio single in 2008 called “Lowridin” both getting alot of radio play on 101.5 Jamz and “Girls On The Dance Floor” is just starting to pick up on radio and in the clubs.

DJ Virman is “Air DJ’ing” anychance he gets.. even at the airport.

Passengers, please buckle up and prepare for take off… lets have some fun…

Now remember.. we’re just some normal dudes from LA livin that FAR EAST MOVEMENT lifestyle… so it was pretty crazy when we got out the airport and saw a stretched Lincoln Navigator Limo pull up for us

The Equation is taking shape….

Goood looking out to our host and party animal Steve Levine. The club we were performing at called Myst in Scottsdale, AZ was right across the street from the W Hotel .. a brand that’s known for partying, some dope rooms.. and partyin.

“My wish? hmmm… a pool party and a nice room.. is that too much to ask?”

WISH 1…. GRANTED!

Heard the pool parties at the W get crazy.. especially during the weekends. They had a dj spinnin some dope jams and everyone was burnin up… AZ knows how to do it. Chilled for a minute to soak up the sun.. something i don’t think i’ve done since Outkast dropped B.O.B. .. and this jam was how bangin the pool was.

Headed to our rooms to drop off our stuff before we set on an adventure for the rest of the day… and WISH 2… GRANTED!

can i get a 3rd wish? can this room be my room at home in LA?? lol

Got a call from our Family… DJ Mikee Mike from 101.5 Jamz and Shew from The Fresh Fiends, who swooped by the hotel to take us to the Phoenix Convention Center to the DUB Car Show that his radio station was sponsoring… shouts to Herman!

Yall know FM be all about “LOWRIDIN”… and the DUB show always has the illest rides on the planet.

Right after soundcheck we had an incredible meal at Suede… all kinds of small plates like Mini Kobe Beef burgers, fried Calamari and green beans, panko chicken and other cool stuff.. and my pics got deleted… uh oh.. new camera better not fail the AZ test!!!

OK, enough fun and games… this trip has been crazy and its only been 1 day and has barely reached night time… and u know what time it is? time for FM to rock out.. we came here to work it ouuuuuuut!

What an end to dope night at Myst… and lovin the fact that our hotel is right across the street haha… as we were walking back there was some rukus outside… since that strip is a party strip full of clubs… and all the sudded we hear some trotting? like horses? sounded like a western movie.. and look who shows up to break up the chaos hahaha… on horses tho? are we in the 1890s?

if you start running do they really chase you down on horseback?? WOW

Now.. if you own a dog.. and your dog does #2 on the street.. don’t they make you clean it up?? so wouldn’t you think if a horse drops ONE in the middle of the street you should clean it up? Even if you are a 5-0 you still gotta keep the streets clean too

If only humans can get away with that…..

What a crazy night… wish we could have stayed in AZ 1 more day.. cuz 1 day is just not enough. Wish we could have linked up with the rest our our fam out there but shouts out to Jassy from 101.5 Jamz, Elijah, Karlie Hustle from Power 98.3, DJ Rocko from Latino Vibe, Big Latin, all the DJ’s at the stations and all the fans rockin out to Girls On The Dance Floor.

Woke up refreshed and a sick stretched Hummer limo was waiting outside to take us to the airport… GOOD LOOKIN OUT.
