For the new FM website, and the new ANIMAL album.. we needed fresh new pics for a fresh new look.
Time to enlist some specialists to help us with our fresh. Photographer Emily Malan manned the camera and Daniel Park from Futurerockstarsofamerica directed the shoot… 2 talented mo-fo’s.

DJ Virman has just put together fresh 90’s hip-hop, rock, and current hit mixtape which premiered on Power 106 for 3 days in a row… and he also included a few select cuts off our new album ANIMAL.
We’ve teamed up with our homie Ben of Monsta Squad from the UK for the killer art work….
This special mixtape to commemorate the ANIMAL album will only be available thru a secret challenge……

Been working in the studio with producer, fm keyboardist, and myninja! clothing creator - Peter Rocks.
We wanted to do a song addressing those situations when people try and tell you what to do… like your parents, teachers, bosses, haters.. and you just wanna do what you want.

Since peter is also the keyboardist for pigeon john and tatum jones… he needs sounds galore for all of our different sounds…
and he definitely does. he actually has a treasure rarely seen in many studios….

Celebrated a birthday for our homie Anson from Arowana Films over at the Boiling Crab in Alhambra. I first heard about the Boiling Crab from the FM Street Team when they had they’re going away party for Corey so we was excited to give this place a shot. (Heres the FM Street Team’s Trip).
Before i get in to what i thought about the food…i had a realization while eating around 16 shrimps…
Crab’s are like the spiders of the sea… so is shrimp like the roaches of the sea? You be the judge.
Notice the similar antenna, hard shell and weird legs?? All good tho… im still eating shrimp.
Met up with the Arowana family outside and saw the homie Ev rockin the classic ‘Simple Love’ Far-east Movement Logo tee.. limited press.

We pulled up on a dark residential street in LA, and since its daylight savings time it gets darker alot earlier… parked the ride and headed to the studio. When we came out to grab some food we noticed a parking ticket on the windshield… when we opened it…. $340… “No Parking in a Handicapped Zone”.
When in my lifetime have i never seen a handicapped zone in a residential area in front of a house. The street was so under lit that we couldnt even see the color of the curb.. and check out the supposed handicapped sign:
Hidden by trees in pitch darkness.. and only visible because of the flash on the camera…
OH YEA.. WE ARE FIGHTING THIS. No comment on the meter maid that issued this ticket to us.
Now back to the recording session…

We was both in the mood for japanese food, so we headed out to Little Tokyo to a spot called Oomasa to get our Bento Box on, check out the photos from the photoshoot, and talk about what an amazing time we’re living in…

A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY: For those that have been following FM for a while, you are probably familiar with our homies at Arowana Films.
They are responsible for such works of ours as Round Round from Tokyo Drift, Satisfaction from the movie Finishing The Game and Work. These dudes have been watching our back since we first started in this business and whenever we chill it feels like seeing old cousins and brothers.
Headed out to the Arowana Films fortress to check out some stuff they’ve been working on and just catch up on family business… and i noticed they got a new pet…
