FM Street Team: Epic Idea
So I got to thinking about how we can all help get the buzz going about the new album? Well fam, something simple came into mind. If you’re willing to participate, here’s the idea!
Set our default image on MySpace/Facebook/Xanga etc. as the ANIMAL album cover. The cover is really intriguing, it’ll get attention. If your profile is private, upload the photo into a public album that everyone can see! In the photo caption, I put something along the lines of “Far*East Movement ANIMAL album - Worldwide Release party Nov. 25th on Stickam (.com)” if you can do the same, that would be awesome! Maybe even the FM website in the caption as well.

While our homies FM are busy in the studio working on a new album to give us eargasms, you may not be able to be kept up to date on the latest of FM. The FM website helps, but what about all the fam that doesn’t visit this site on the regular, because they’re MySpace addicts?

Yoooo I drove my homies Jay and Luu 105 miles down to San Diego Thursday night so we could club it up w/ FM @ DECO’S! We got there a little early, I was expecting heavier traffic. I hit 121mph on the 5 south hahaha.
We were extremely hungry.. We saw TGI Fridays and bum rushed the place, HUNGRY. As you can see in this image cropped from ©Google Maps, it’s right next to Deco’s.
Yum Dom Cha on Sons of Anarchy

For a while, I’ve been a hypocrite by telling others they shouldn’t smoke. If those who know me haven’t noticed, I quit smoking 2 months ago when I quit my bouncer job at a Hookah lounge.
Wong Fu Productions just uploaded a new video.. It’s entertaining and makes a good point. For those who smoke, maybe this’ll open your eyes.

I go to the website today to confirm the prices of the FM Shutters’ and I find something pretty cool.
Although partially blocked, the FM edition is the first one you see. Before the website didn’t feature em, you had to have the direct link. But this is pretty badass cause now the site has em as the first one you see. I hope sales have gone up guys, a friend of mine was in NY recently on vacation and told me she saw a good deal of people wearing them.

Yesterday, Harvest Moon Festival, was just really dope overall. Whoever didn’t go, totally missed out. FM rocked the crowd, Tatum Jones got the crowd lovin, Quest got em movin. Finally got to meet Wes since we were so busy at ISA. Chill dude, great day.

Lowridin’ In The LBC
As always I Lowride in the LBC. Windows down bumpin’ FM makin sure it’s in everyone’s ears. So I get back to LB from the Catch office in K-town on Thursday night, the homie Regan (some of ya’ll may know him from Street Lab) scoops me up and I pop in the first copy of this beautiful CD in his car.

“Yo Reg, it’s Track 3!” and we listen to the CD the whole Knight (haha) as we go from spot to spot to for a film project I was helping him and his friend out with. Pleasant to the ears, finally got it on my iPod for Knight-Ridin’ on the go.

Haha I actually have $250 for FM so far (14 tickets sold + $40 for 2 shirts) I got 2 bundles of $1 bills and I threw some 10’s on the stack.. but nobody has to know.

My friend April in Tx always reppin FM, she just got the shirt she bought on CatchAdventures.com last week! Her family owns a liquor store that she works at so a lot of people are going to be seeing that shirt haha.

I was over at the LBCC Liberal Arts Campus today with my friends and we were hungry so we went for a walk to get some food. We ended up going to this Subway in a busy area next to the Douglas Center (bought out by Boeing) and by the college. The manager was quite nice.
The buildings on the bottom left used to be DC Jets. Piece of LB history.

What a fantastic night it was the eve of August 10th at Young Nak church. There was a pretty good sized crowd. Cre8 went up first, what a way to start off the night because they just kicked ass. Ken Oak came up afterwards, what great music. I gotta go the the 3rd street promenade to see them again. Tatum Jones came up and did an awesome job with their harmony and beatboxing. The crowd was ready and waiting for FM. For those who couldn’t make it, I sincerely apologize. You missed a great show, FM killed it.
Virman’s intro was dooope. His older bro DJ E-Man was on the drums, which made for a kick ass set.

Bernie Mac, Rest In Peace
The Bernie Mac passed away this morning. I’ll tell ya, that’s got me teary. Bernie Mac!!! IS GONE?! -__-;; I grew up watching this guy. I believe we all admire this man, Damn.
This is the story from Associated Press:
Bernie Mac, the actor and comedian who teamed up in the casino heist caper “Ocean’s Eleven” and gained a prestigious Peabody Award for his sitcom “The Bernie Mac Show,” died Saturday at age 50.
“Actor/comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital,” his publicist, Danica Smith, said in a statement from Los Angeles.
She said no other details were available and asked that his family’s privacy be respected.
The comedian suffered from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body’s organs, but had said the condition went into remission in 2005. He recently was hospitalized and treated for pneumonia, which his publicist said was not related to the disease.
Recently, Mac’s brand of comedy caught him flack when he was heckled during a surprise appearance at a July fundraiser for Democratic presidential candidate and fellow Chicagoan Barack Obama.
