FM ADVENTURE: ADDING 1 MORE SONG – I PARTY

Linked up with our boy IZ aka IZreal and Daniel from the crew DB Tonik to add one last song to the Animal Album…

We pulled up on a dark residential street in LA, and since its daylight savings time it gets darker alot earlier… parked the ride and headed to the studio. When we came out to grab some food we noticed a parking ticket on the windshield… when we opened it…. $340… “No Parking in a Handicapped Zone”.

When in my lifetime have i never seen a handicapped zone in a residential area in front of a house. The street was so under lit that we couldnt even see the color of the curb.. and check out the supposed handicapped sign:

Hidden by trees in pitch darkness.. and only visible because of the flash on the camera…

OH YEA.. WE ARE FIGHTING THIS. No comment on the meter maid that issued this ticket to us.

Now back to the recording session…

We closed the track list for the Animal album but when Daniel and IZ first played us the track in they’re studio called “The Jar”… we flipped out and knew the sound would work for Animal.

We met IZ and DB Tonik from us all just being artists around LA, especially in Koreatown… they’re both 2 artists we admire and respect and its dope to finally be able to work with both of them on the same song.

Proh and IZ going over concepts.

This one will be the party track of all party tracks… and it references a classic party song from back in the day. At first Daniel sampled a famous line, but after realizing it might be hard to clear we called up our homegirl Julie who has classical opera training to get the sound we were looking for…

Outside grubbin on some King Taco… 13 carne asada tacos, 4 horchatas, 1 carne asada burrito… 7 extra hot sauces. Thanks for blessing the track Julie…

We ended up finishing the song and looking to start mixing and throw it on last minute… the song is called “I PARTY”… hopefully yall can relate hahha.
