FM Kevnish A HAUNTING IN SF?

FM ADVENTURE: A HAUNTING IN SF?

Have you ever had an encounter with a ghost or stayed in a place that you were told was haunted?

Our trip to San Francisco for our show at SFSU was awesome.. but we had one of the most bone chilling/haunted experiences ever… let me start from the beginning of the trip.

Got on our flight out of burbank to SF just a few hours before the show.. SPACE CAPTAIN KEV NISH READY FOR TAKE OFF…

Wait a sec…

we were supposed to be in San Francisco?

so when i look out of the window why do i see… Las Vegas??

LOL.

KIDDING.

the boring in-flight magazine…

Read a crazy article about a guy named Cameron Hughes… a professional fan at sports games… who started being crazy at NBA and NHL games hyping up the crowd and is now getting paid $1500 a game doing 70 to 80 games a year to get the crowd crazy dressed as a fan… what an awesome job.

We landed in at Oakland Airport and had only a few hours before our show, so we hopped in a cab to SFSU… but what we found out through our FM Twitter from you guys is that we should have taken the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit? – the SF subway system)

Our Cab ride ended up being around $80.. like the price of a plane ticket! haha

Got to SFSU aka San Francisco State University right on time.. the event was called API SMASH.. with featuring a bunch of talented artists.. including Supreme Soul from America’s Best Dance Crew… and they donated part of the proceeds to the awesome organization www.4cthepower.com

Yall already know.. DJ Virman brought his brand new Nike Air Yeezys… these kicks are supremely hard to find now, they go for like $700 on certain kick sites and they glow in the dark so he had to charge them up in the light.. Vir’s ready to walk on AIIIRRRRRRR.

time to take the stage.. and API SMASH.

Here’s a little video clip from the show.. SF Crowd was awesome. thanks for reppin fam.

Here’s a picture i took on stage, i must say that’s an awesome turnout for a MONDAY NIGHT.. 3 FINGERS UP!

After the show we signed some autographs, met some dope SF fam and got hungry. It was around 11pm and with the show organizing team and the FM Nor Cal Street team we all hit up a spot called King Of Thai that stays open late

“Hi… I’d like a table for 30 please…”

I ordered red curry with seafood.. perfect meal for late night hunger… and thank you to DDK from 4c The Power and the FM Street Team for the incredible meal.

Then, Monica and Tammy from the FM Street team surprise us with this cool invention :)

ITS THE FAR EAST MOVEMENT “FAN”.

Now….

Here’s where our FM Adventure gets a little freeky.

Prohgress was telling us we got a really great deal on a room in the city, so we grabbed a cab and headed over to the Chancellor Hotel. During the cab ride the driver tells us the hotel has a lot of history.. he says “yea… i wouldnt be scared or nothing but this hotel is one of the few hotels in the city that’s HAUNTED”.

WTF YOU MEAN.. HAUNTED?

he said that back in the day there was a father that went crazy and threw his wife and daughter out of the 13th floor window.. then jumped out himself.

It should be all good… cuz these days most hotels don’t even have a 13th floor.. its bad luck right?

We arrived.. a little shaken.. but we some grown dudes so its time to man up and get a few hours of sleep before we leave at 4am

NOW YOU WILL TRIP OUT.
we check in to our rooms.. and the lady says “rooms 1304 and 1308… night”

Oh hellllll naaaaah. Hotels aint supposed to have a 13th floor… but we aint trying to act like scurrred babies so we just took the rooms.

dont even think about it.. lets just get to our rooms and K.O.

we get to the elevator and check this out…

Why is the button for the 13th floor crooked?????

NOW WE TRIPPIN.

Creeped down the hall on the 13th floor to our rooms… sketchin…. something  really dont feel right on this floor.

Room looks coool… but even with the heater on, the room feels cold.. and you can hear all kinds of weird creeks in the walls.. like it was made of wood.. but its not even a wood building..

i was rooming with virman and vir was in the bathroom washing up… i remember the story the cab driver told us about the father pushing his family out the window so i just had to look out the window…

AND THIS COMPLETELY FREAKED ME OUT.

WHAT IS THAT REFLECTION IN THE WINDOW?

I asked the fellas and they said maybe its a lamp or a statue in the corner of the room? DUDE, i was in the room.. and there was no statue or lamp on that side of the room. IT WAS EMPTY.

Now i’ve never had any type of experience with ghosts or goblins or any type of horror movie ish like this… but how we going to be in the 13th floor of a haunted hotel with a crooked 13 button… and see a reflection in the window that looks like a person when no one else is in the room? That’s a Haunting in San Francisco.

Time for me to get back to LA.

u want a ghost story? i got one. cruise ship. little boy in a red shirt and khaki pants with brown hair.. maybe 7 years old. sitting on the corner of the bed looking at you taking a pic of yourself in the mirror–you know, myspace mirror shot. my friend’s sister was alone in the room when she took that pic. i saw the mirror pic. clear as day. little boy. staring at her… gives me the ebie jeebies.

  14. victorFM said on April 15th, 2009 at 1:17 pm:

look at where the door is and theres a white face with a hood or something..freaky ish! xD

  16. Doris said on April 15th, 2009 at 2:16 pm:

When I saw that reflection picture i saw two figures. & i thought it was you & virman. I don’t think the ghost wears blue hats. lol dude, but i’ll be freaked too. theres so many places in SF thats “haunted” you should visit it sometimes when you guys come back again[: Pass by Golden Gate at night. that shit is scaryyy. All empty and all you see outside your window is BLACK.

  17. Doris said on April 15th, 2009 at 2:17 pm:

& i loved your performance at API Smash. I was one of the girls with the FM on her face. lol. I wished I could’ve stayed longer to chill wit you guys at King of Thai. But yeah it was a school night & you know how parents get. Oh, If you guys like Thai I highly recommend Best of Thai on Haight St. You guys should go there next time. Food is bomb.

that’s scary.. i hate ghosts and stuff they freak me out…

  19. thelindavang said on April 15th, 2009 at 2:47 pm:

it looks kinda like virman but kinda like a dude in a blue cap, black hoodie, a backpack and shorts.

when my grandma passed away my cousins on both sides came over and one of my cousins was taking pictures of everyone and in one of the pictures there was a clear picture with my grandma in it, not the actual body, she got freaked and deleted it

  20. Susieee said on April 15th, 2009 at 2:59 pm:

LOL theres a lot of places in s.f thats haunted ;D whoo! api smash & dinner was awesome!

  21. MimiPai said on April 15th, 2009 at 3:45 pm:

That’s scary! But it looks like U all had fun before the Haunting in SF. Want to hear some scary shit… had my nieces for winter holidays so we went to South Carolina… U know all that history stuff. Anyway we stayed in this one historical inn and around 3:30 am I hear my little niece (4 years old) laughing and running in the room. Told her 2 knock it off and get to bed but she said she wants to play with the pretty light… that got me out of bed and when I looked where she was at there was this floating light ball in front of her. Crap I swore in front of her and turned all the lights. Packed my bags and headed towards the nearest hotel that was not “historical”. Don’t know what that shit was but never going there again!

  22. janie said on April 15th, 2009 at 3:57 pm:

well isn’t it superstitious that if you encounter ghosts you’re going to be a big hit?

well FM is going to make it BIGGER than they are now. ^^

hope you’re ok…i know that stuff can be freaky as hell. i’d cry as soon as those room #s slipped out of the receptionist’s mouth. hahahha.
