FM Kevnish 8 BIT MUSIC = HIT

FM ADVENTURE:  8 BIT MUSIC = HIT
(FAR EAST MOVEMENT x HYPER CRUSH COLLABORATE)

Can you even remember the days when video games were 8 bit? Even phones and alarm clocks have more than 8 bit graphics these days. It was the days of the og NES.. The Nintendo Entertainment System… the FLY 80’s. Some of yall weren’t born … and some of yall can still remember the Mike Tyson’s Punch Out and Kung Fu.

One of the dopest crews in LA who recently signed to Universal Motown named HYPER CRUSH bring out the illest part of the 80’s but fresh for the new school… and  invited us over to the studio for a crazy collabo and a legit trip back to the 8 bit era…

I aint had this much fun in a minute…

Walked in and was greeted by the homie Donny who kicks the fresh raps in the crew.. rockin the one and only POWER GLOVE… If yall saw the movie THE WIZARD then you know the what power the Power Glove possesses…

will the Power Glove give FM and Hyper Crush the power to make a dope song?

“I LOVE THE POWER GLOVE… ITS SO BAD.” – Lucas

They got one of the coolest studios in the game.. its a mini movie theater/production lab/recording studio all in one. Chopped it up with Preston who produces for the group and crafted up a sick sick beat for the collab… some high energy club fire.. i think the Power Glove is starting to work…

Got introduced to Tim and Eric.. pretty hilarious… and twisted.

Meet Holly Valentine, singer of the crew… Killed the hook on the collab… OFF THE HOOK.

Living in LA you get to meet some pretty awesome people.. we were introduced to Hyper Crush thru our homie Mickey Finnegan, a talented music video director who recently did music videos for Tyga, Keak The Sneak, our boy Kafani and Hyper’s last music video called “Robo Tech”

New FM Music Video coming soon???

The track we’re doing together is for an upcoming mixtape they’re putting together which should be ready to release in a few weeks and we’ll def have for download on our blog, and the theme is takin yall back to the 8 Bit era.. right to the Nintendo cartridge. Remember when you had tap the game with the palm of your hand or blow on the bottom of the game just to get it to work when the game froze???

J-Splif is losing oxygen but will get this daym game to work.

I was a Nintendo PRO. I had Mario Bros, Duck Hunt, Rad Racer, NHL Hockey, Contra, Legend Of Zelda, Mike Tyson’s Punch Out, Kung Fu, Dick Tracy, Batman, Mega Man, Metroid, Double Dragon, Bubble Bobble, Paper Boy, Castlevania, Metal Gear, Blades Of Steel, RBI Baseball and more…Of the dope collection of games i used to own i was extra skilled at:

EXCITEBIKE.

Marble Madness.

Skate Or Die.

STOP PLAYIN GAMES… GET BACK TO WORK FOOOOS!

After a few hours of going over verses, arranging the song, watching Tim and Eric’s Awesome show, listening to tracks of HP’s new album, eating cheese n crackers and jalapeno hummus and playing Nintendo…. We just finished the song…. and its bangin.

The concept of the track is simple and what both crews can relate to …. have you ever been judged negatively or hated on for just being your self or having the courage to always try new things and theres always someone that wants to bring your positive spirit down to the ground and spit on it? We’ve made a song for you to play…

and it goes a little something like….

F.. U.. H.. A ..T.. E ..R.. (IN ROBOT VOICE)

The Power Glove came thru and gave all of us the power to make this collab a crazy one. We got to the final level, beat the last bad guy big boss… and now its time to celebrate to the 8 Bit theme music at the end of the game.

HYPER CRUSH featuring the FAR EAST MOVEMENT – “F U H A T E R”

The real question is, do you call Dr. Wiley from Megaman (or any videogame villian) the “Main Guy” or “The Main Main Guy” and subsequently would you call someone like Ice Man or Quick Man (the videogame villians henchman) “The Boss” or “The Main Guy.”

I like to think that Wiley should be called “The Main Guy” and Quick Man should be called “The Boss” Non or this main main guy BS!! :-P

Can’t wait to hear the track guys!
