We’re in Miami today getting ready for Super Bowl Sunday… SAINTS vs. COLTS. Tonight at 9pm pst we’ll be broadcasting from the Sun Life Stadium parking lot throwing the first ever “CHERRY BOWL” Super Bowl Pre-Party Mix. We brought out the SUV with 2 turntables and a crazy stereo system and we set up a bbq grill with hamburgers, hot dogs, spam, veggies and anything else you can bobby flay up.

To spice up this Super Bowl Parking lot Pre-Party… Jsplif and Prohgress have decided to make a bet.. and whoever looses we’ll make sure its something they won’t forget lol… tune in to find out.

EATING FM: “DC CRISPY MAC N CHEESE”

Out in Washington DC our fam took us to a famous soul food spot called Ben’s Next Door. Its right Next Door to a famous chili spot called Ben’s… yea it all makes sense now. They are known for the dry rub ribs, crispy fried chicken and the crispy mac and cheese so we ordered all. Delicious.

When we ordered fried chicken the server said they only had white meat so i was hesitant because its always dry, but i shoulda known a spot like this would make sure it wasnt dry. They nailed it for sure… every bite was juicy n crispy n not leaking grease like pop-eyes. The crispy mac n cheese is now the only way i want to eat mac n cheese.. was a good call. My first time ever eating a classic with this spin. They used a different type of white cheese giving it a gourmet taste and the top was super crispy for the perfect mash up. I’m going to try and make it at home but i don’t think i can use the kraft box in the pantry.

The menu had took soul food to a new place.. crab cakes, cornbread mini muffins, belgium style waffles. We definitely felt the soul in DC.

***3 Fingers up - MUST EAT.. crave for it.. amazing food. If you dont try it your missing out on life…

**2 Fingers up – Great Taste, if you get a chance… try it… i recommend it.

* 1 Finger up – Kinda wish i didnt eat there or order what i ordered … but i ate it and now im full.

- Middle Finger up – i threw it away while eating it… if i had a brick i’d throw it through the window.. and if i had lighter fluid and a lighter.. i’d burn that mutha down…

Location: Washington DC

Price Range: plates range from $14 to $30.. fancy soul food

We recommend: Crispy Mac n Cheese, Fried Chicken, Coleslaw

Service: waitress was nice, not cool that they cut off waffle service before 5pm tho.. wanted chicken n waffles.

Rating: – **2.5 FINGERS UP.
Food was awesome… but for the price it should be that good. If it was cheaper and a hidden spot it would have totally got 3 fingers up. Everytime we’re in DC we’re going here.
